Anne passed away surrounded by her family on 31st July 2021 after a short illness. Her funeral took place on 31st August, in her home town in Northern Ireland.
Anne worked with and supported many families from diagnosis through transition to adult care during her time with Barnardo's at Birmingham Children's Hospital and at our centre. Anne was one of the first specialist cystic fibrosis social workers in the UK and was passionate about her work. She was also a very active member of our website editorial committee until her retirement in 2014.
In her personal life Anne enjoyed travelling, DIY and keeping herself fit by going to the gym.
Anne will be sadly missed and out thoughts are with her loved ones, especially her husband George.
