Operation Renovation - Room refurbishment project
After 22 years of intensive use of our centre, we have recently started our biggest fundraising appeal to date
Operation Renovation aims to fund continuation of improvements to our centre facilities which are used by some of our sickest patients with cystic fibrosis. It will cost £280,000 to complete the final stage of this ambitious programme and upgrade the rest of our patient rooms, patient gym, overnight stay room and outpatient procedure room .
We appeal to you or your organisation to help raise funds to complete this project

From concept to reality
The refurbishment project started by updating 11 of our 20 rooms, which had become tired after 22 years of intensive use. This included new ensuite facilities, furniture, larger TVs, refrigerators, Wi-Fi and safes.
The air exchange & ventilation system was improved to reduce infection risk, essential changes being funded by the NHS. However our Hospital Trust is unable to fund the refurbishment of our centre which functions as a hospital ward.
Interior designers created some exciting and colourful designs, responding to patient requests to bring ‘the outside in’. We would like to complete the refurbishment of all 9 rooms and other facilities by 2025.
